Holocaust book club reflection

Q. What does learning about the life of the main character in your book teach you about how you want to live your own life.

A. Reading the life of Elli showed many thing. What Elli went through was very harsh and very devastating. She could couldn’t go to school and she couldn’t eat when ever she wanted. She had to starve for days and she couldn’t do anything about it. This all showed me to be great full of what I have. This showed me this because i have enough food for a whole week and I am able to go to school and learn, but all that Elli didn’t have she had to stay in camps and move around every where.
This is what reading the life of Elli showed me.

Q. How do the choices people made during the rise of the Nazi Party and the Holocaust teach us about the power and impact of our choices today?

A. Even though this happened and we know it bad a lot of counties have to face this problem. Now that our teachers are showing us this and the aching us kids bout this we can find out ways to prevent it. Some countries do not teach about the holocaust and  they have genocide. Some countries don’t know that the holocaust even happened. I think that every country should be mandatory to teach their kids about the Holocaust. Impacts our choices because some might know when another genocide happens and will try to speak up because they know what is going to happen.
